History of the school
Thoho-Ya-Ndou Primary School started in 1963
under the leadership of the former principal
Mr Tshivhase and caters for learners from Grade
1 up to Grade 7. The name Thoho-Ya-Ndou means
"Head of an elephant" and comes from the capital
city of Venda in Limpopo. Thoho-Ya-Ndou is situated
in Pretoria's township, Saulsville. The school's
motto is "PFUNZO NDI TSHILILELWA", which
means "CARING FOR EDUCATION".
